Ahi tuna- otherwise known as yellowfin tuna, is one of the most common varieties of tuna. While this fish is very similar to bluefin tuna in quality, the yellowfin tuna price is easier on the pocket. The color of Yellowfin tuna meat can range from pink to deep red, depending on the size of the fish. Yellowfin tuna can range from three to over 200 pounds with the larger fish being more preferred for its higher fat content and deeper red color.
